Mepitel One is a gentle one-sided wound contact layer with Safetac, a perforated design that protects new tissue and intact skin preventing it from sticking to moist wounds. This allows your wound to remain undisturbed, supporting faster natural healing.
This painless silicone adhesive contact layer is designed to mould softly to skin without sticking to the moist wound so you can remove it easily without damaging the skin. It also seals the wound to protect skin and enables easy delivery of topical treatments with secondary dressing changes without disturbing healing.
As a transparent one-sided adhesive you can instantly assess healing progress without removing the contact layer. Mepitel One can be worn up to 14 days leaving your wound undisturbed, giving the healing process the time it needs.
Mepitel One can be used for a wide range of exuding wounds such as painful wounds, skin tears, skin abrasions, surgical incisions, partial-thickness burns, traumatic wounds, blistering, lacerations, partial- and full-thickness grafts, radiated skin and leg and foot ulcers.
